Doc's Salty Fly Fishing 4 Beginners Clinic - Corpus Christi

The clinic has evolved into many different things through out the 10 years of operation, but has stayed consistent with the same goal; help people get into fly fishing with the most success as possible while having fun. 

Since 2020 Capt. Marcus “DOC”Haralson has seen the importance of a casting lesson or going over the basics with clients that are new or kind of rusty in regards to their casting. This as exponentially helped his clients be better saltwater fly fisherman and stewards of the Laguna Madre. 

The 1st day of the clinic is hosted at a beautiful location. You start your morning instruction with a hot cup of coffee and other refreshments, along with a light breakfast. After introductions and expectations of all students over the 3 days, Capt. Marcus will go over the intro to casting course, then you will head outside to the casting area to go the beginner techniques you just learned. Throughout the day you will go between the casting area and classroom improving upon each skill set learned. On days two and three you will meet up with your guide and spend two full days on the Laguna Madre, using the skills you learned on day one to target; redfish black drum, speckled trout, and flounder.

• Arrive 4/24, class day 1 and fishing day 2 and 3, and depart 4/28
• 3 day saltwater fishing license
• Breakfast and lunch all 3 days
• Waters and ice on the boats
• All flies and fly equipment
• Guide and boat for the 2 days
• A great time and lots of laughs
• Flights and travel are covered by WFW
• Lodging provided b WFW

This will be a filmed and photographed adventure.
